The location offers a serene escape amidst the bustling city, with clean, modestly decorated public spaces. Enjoying fresh, local food at breakfast provided a nice start to the day. However, front desk staff were unfriendly, and the lukewarm shower was a letdown, compounded by communication issues regarding room availability on arrival.

historic building, really good location, large rooms
How about addressing the leaking shower? A good scrub of the bathroom wouldn't hurt either!!! Those translucent doors make sleeping at night impossible!!! A review of the food service would help improve quality.
